Dana was raised in eastern Canada and move to the San Diego area in 1998. After a computer career of almost 30 years he founded San Diego Burial at Sea and in 2013 founded Funerals Your Way.

He is a licenced Funeral Director (FDR: 3629), a member of LifeShare Funeral advisery board and a licensed insurance agent.

 He enjoys boating, scuba diving and travel.

Tawanna was raised in West Virginia and Ohio and came to San Diego in 1981. She was a leader in real estate industry and elected to Top Ten Society in Akron, Ohio.

She has worked closely with Dana in building a caring burial at sea service and is a licensed funeral director (FDR: 3630), a member of the Life Share Funeral advisory board and a licensed insurance agent.

She enjoys boating, walking, reading and of course the grandbabies.

Jody has been involved with the study of ceremony and funeral practices for over 40 years. Much of that time has been spent learning from traditional American Indian Elders. She believes her job is a sacred duty and is grateful for the chance to help families honor their relations. 

 She has spent many years working on and around the ocean. She is a licensed Funeral Arranger and a San Diego Burial At Sea burial attendant.

George brings extensive experience from the local hospitality industry and the residential property management sector. He is a caring and compassionate person.

George assists his families by listening and understanding their needs, making recommendations, and creating the perfect memorable ceremony. His “can do” attitude and genuine concern for his families shines through all he does.

Chantel Bio Picture

Chantel is a licensed funeral director (FDR: 4196) and funeral arranger who joined this industry in 2015. She feels that it is a great honor to guide families in times of need and hopes to make this process as easy as possible. If you call our office, you are likely to speak with her and work with her to arrange the service of your loved one.

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, snowboarding, and watching MMA.

S. is a Funeral Director to-be and a student pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science. With over four and a half years of funeral experience and having worn many hats within the mortuary industry, she has a strong commitment to excellence in serving families and the ones who have passed on. She is empathetic with a respecting, sensitive, and caring nature that enables her to provide exceptional service to families and loved ones during their time of need. This reflects within her individual approach, attention to detail, care, guidance, and support of grieving families after the loss of a loved one.

Mia is our official greeter, a position she excels at. She does not work much but is always super excited to come to the office. She loves people and always lifts spirits.
