On January 20, 2024 Jeanne DaLana Willis unexpectedly departed this life, which she often called “the most amazing journey.” Her life's journey was adorned with exceptional skills and proficiencies that enhanced her roles as wife to the late Fred D. Willis, Jr. and mother to Nevea, Christopher, Paul and Katrina, whom they raised in Dayton, Ohio. Jeanne blessed many through her exquisite piano-playing and exceptional sewing skills, while her administrative and secretarial talents led to success in various industries. She devoted over 30 years to General Dynamics NASSCO, leaving a lasting legacy of diligence and dedication. Jeanne D. Willis embodied classiness, style, and grace. Her smile and laughter, quiet confidence and peaceful nature, were all reflections of her deep love for her family, her commitment to professionalism, and her passion for piano and artistic expression. Jeanne had a special affinity for butterflies. Their serene yet whimsical dance—floating and fluttering in the essence of their transformative freedom; mirrors how Jeanne navigated her life’s journey.
