Obituary

Alan Joseph Bilecki, born April 28, 1946, found peace on March 21, 2024, after a several-year struggle with health issues.

Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Leda Ann Bilecki, Alan is survived by his sister, Lori Fonzi, brother-in-law, Ron Fonzi, and special neighbors and friends who watched over him.

Alan served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and then completed a bachelor's Degree at SDSU. In his younger years, Alan enjoyed ski diving, scuba diving, and water skiing. He retired from the US Postal Service after 30 years.

Alan’s love for animals was unwavering. Never married, Alan devoted himself to his four-legged friends, Bailey, Chloe, Buddy and Madi.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 10th, at 10:30 am at Miramar National Cemetery.
